A bit of drag racing fun (winning from 3.4 seconds behind)

Was down at shakespeare county raceway with a few friend in the MeisterR R32 GTR and thought this video was a bit funny. :)

 

Was still staging when the marshall drop the light, so my friends got a 3.4 seconds head start on me...

But manage to catch up to him by the end and beat him by 0.039 of a second (thats is 39 milliseconds)!

 

It wasn't a real race, but it was just funny to catch up and still cross the line first from such a massive head start.

The run itself isn't any good either with wheel spin in most of first gear...

Yea, I love that HUD.

It also double up as a shift light but easier to look at the big tacho for drag strip environment.
