Bri, maybe you can help?-long shot I know but I have a flat roof side extension that has a dividing wall with a door opening.Would you know if this is load bearing?

The wall seems like a single block affair, I don't know how flat roofs are constructed mate!:turned:

Basically I need to arse the wall out! LOL!

hi Daz lad...you need to tell me the width of the room mate for starters..also iff you go on the roof can you see prominent ridges that would be the joists,normally 16" centres.The reason ime asking is iff the joists run the same way as the wall then its not load bearing but also iff the span of the width is less than say 14-16ft and the joists are around 8x2" then the wall can come down without the roof falling in LOL.. Cheers Bri, Room width is 3700, pretty sure the Joist come off the House wall onto the Extension wall (read in the plans somwhere) so I could be in luck?:ph34r:

 

Hope so as it's gonna be the new garage/lab lol!
