im bored sitting on a ferry home from the shetlands. Got the ferry up from Aberdeen at 7 on Wednesday night arrived in Lerwick in Shetland at 7.30 am thursday done the job in the co-op now back on the ferry to Aberdeen will get in around 8am the have a 3 hour drive home good times anyway just thought I'd post this for something to do lol

I spy with my little eye something beginning with s?!

Shetland has to be the coldest place I have worked, was there in November a few years ago, flew there as well which was an escapade, plane flew from Glasgow, landed at Inverness and Lerwick then onto Sumbra on Shetland, twin prop effort, man it was a flight from hell lol

Always fancied a trip to the far flung islands, I'll get round to it some day

did look like a nice place not that we seen much the co-op was right next to the port so didnt venture far. was a nice day as well up there

Can you see the northern lights up there at the right time of year or are you too far south? Would love to see them :)

From memory (old age aint easy) the flight was nearly £400 so it could turn out to be expensive to get there but I just wish I had my camera with me as some of the views were awsome Robert.

Yeah the company lost money on the job but it was part of the national contract so had to get done. Some really cool pics would love to see that
