Im feed up with the damp in my bathroom and re grouting all the time. Has anyone else used the plastic cladding they do for bathrooms? It looks pretty straight forward to put up but just wanted to know how well it last etc.

Thanks dave

I think you refer to white or whatever colour acrylic sheets they use now for splashbacks.

I bought a small piece for a basin splashback and I am very happy with it, looks modern, just stuck it on with silicone and just put dummy mirror dome screw heads one in each corner.

My shower has cracked tiles and tatty grouting/siliconing, so I am going to get 3 large pieces of 3mm thickness and just stick them over, silicone to tidy.

Yeh I say go for it :cool3:

Done thousands of bathrooms and kitchens with it ,, no complaints so far , highly recommended ,, easy to install too

awsome any recomendantions on where to buy it from?

Simple solution would be to improve the ventilation in the bathroom

its probably wet/damp walls behind causing the ongoing grief, regrouting is masking the problem temporarily.

i had a new bathroom fitting 4 years ago and i think monkeys would of done a better job! the drainage was never right and the shower base was put in wrong. It doesnt help that my bathroom is on the back of the house down stairs and has two outside walls and the fact i live in wales doesnt help either
