Repair kit looks interesting. Will give it a go. It's only a corolla so can't do any harm!

Those scratch repair kits use a powder to which u add water then use a mop on a drill to polish glass in my opinion they are crap really wont touch the scratch unless its super fine ie cant feel it with your nail and even if you went at it hammer and tong for hrs all it will do is distort the screen not so bad when looking in but a total S**T when looking out did a Mustang front screen here after it developed a scratch ended up binning out the screen ! Personally live with the scratch till it gets a stone hit it on its next drive !

agreed - have used jewelers rouge before & it does create a distortion like looking through a lens where you take the glass back, its not so bad on a light mark on the side windows but on the front screen is not a good result!

Probably best to just leave it then. Everything else on it is also scratched so it will blend in!

Agreed^^^^^ though can't condone any fraudulent activity :sneaky2:

umm i meant stay really close behind a gritter and hope for a chip............. honest!

i used to live about five miles from a dump, told my insurance a rock flew up from a lorries tyre and smashed my screen, got the screen replaced and they brought the wrong tinted glass with them, lucky though the fitter cracked it as he fitted it and had to order a replacement the correct colour.

worked out all right as i had time to sort a little bit of rust on the pillar.
