I didn't think foam was used in many new builds, far more likely to be sheets etc. What I really want to find is a supplier, pref at a discount. There are very few suppliers and the cost seems huge.

I might even pay someone to do it if their price is reasonable ...

think british gas were running a government subsidised scheme a few months back to get your cavity walls insulated for £99 not sure if you can still apply though

one of the best thing's you can do to a house, make's a huge difference, dont forget to do your loft aswell, wait till wick's or b&q have it on special, did my loft for £30

Costs about 400 quid - you'll save that in 5 years or so.

I have wasps living in my cavity wall so I'm hoping that they're little paper houses also make good insultaion, otherwise I'm gonna tape over their entrance with gaffa tape!

Any idea when that's likely to be? Maybe I should write them a letter and ask! I was tempted to get pest control in, but I can't see what harm they're doing really. I've always had a funny attitude to wee beasties, don't like killing them for no reason. :yinyang:
