Right , i need all you IT gurus to give me some advice.
I set up a couple of Win7 pc's, and used the "Homegroup" option to allow the 2 to talk to each other. for a while it was okay, each saw each other seeing users and public under the respective machine names. under public, was the "public my docs" "public my pics" etc.
However, suddenly one pc doesn't see the others dir structure like before, just see's "users". I've scanned the internet, and found loads of "fixes" which work for them, but alas, not for me. Now i'm not asking for how to fix it, but rather how to get out of the windows "homegroup" so i can just have a peer to peer network, share drives and share a printer...like the old days..
