Theres a double garage come up near me to let but no electric. I have a Clark 3hp 100ltr compressor whats the best way to run this. Could I get away with an invertor off a car battery.

Inverter and car battery wont last five minutes mate, best off with either a really long extension, or a generator....

you will need about three of these!!

they only produce abot 3 amps . That compressor is probably around 9/10 amps:biggrin:

Cheers, off to research. There is actually old wiring in the garage but think would be more expensive to connect up. Will probs look out for a second hand generator.

ahhh ive just built a petrol (honda powerd) compresser for a customer and then stripped it again as he had no money, ive now put the pump on another machine..BUT you can buy chinese petrol machines very cheap and this should be your road to go down mate instead of adding a generator into the idea
