1st gear jump

Anyone good with gearboxes

 

Have a 03 laguna 2.0t when you put it into 1st gear it pops out when you pull away. I have tested the linkage and all is fine!

 

Before I take the box out and have a play just want to see what you think.

 

Oh its a PK6 gearbox if that helps!

    Ive had quite a few dealings with pk6 boxes in lagunas and master vans,basically the syncro has gone mate or a bearing has let go causing excessive endfloat.The box is quite a fiddle to get out.You have to lower the crossmember the steering rack sits on really to get it out.The pk6 is quite a weak box and well known for failure.The newer pf6 box is better but still has its problems.The box is easy to strip too.
