it's a ewbank progress 3, it's made from wood, all original, was left in the back garden of one of our properties

I reckon it might be worth a bob or two to someone who collects them! Can you imagine the type of person who collects hoovers though!

 

I bet a TV props department would find a use for it in some period drama or something.

 

I'd definitely check its value before you try cleaning it up (or rather, letting the missus clean it up), it would be gutting to find you'd lowered its value by cleaning it/damaging the wood. Let some antique restorer do the job - they might even take it off your hands?

well i got about £50 for an old accordian i found so this might be worth a bit £30?

im gonna let her use it this afternoon after she make's my tea
