it's a ewbank progress 3, it's made from wood, all original, was left in the back garden of one of our properties

I reckon it might be worth a bob or two to someone who collects them! Can you imagine the type of person who collects hoovers though!

 

I bet a TV props department would find a use for it in some period drama or something.

 

I'd definitely check its value before you try cleaning it up (or rather, letting the missus clean it up), it would be gutting to find you'd lowered its value by cleaning it/damaging the wood. Let some antique restorer do the job - they might even take it off your hands?

Just had a quick search on the net and one very similar has just sold for 1700 quid..

 

Oh, woops - my mistake, forgot the decimal point in there; it should have read 17.00 quid.
