ok here goes car audio to me is a right minefield (i do work in pa/dj equipment normally so understand ohm, power ratings etc) everyone quotes max powers on amplifiers but not sure when it comes to wiring kits........ i've just bought a custom sub off ebay for the zed and a amplifier the amplifier was rated at 350wx4 + 300w centre channel & 1000w sub so 2700w max when i did a little digging i actually found it was 50wx4 +70w + 120w so 390w rms (which is what i'm used to working in) which funnily would not match the max ratings quoted anyway wiring kit i'm looking at a 10awg kit which quotes upto 1000w would this be suitable?

For best results use either 4 or 8 awg.I personally would use the 4awg .So if you expand your system in the future your power cable will be suffice. Also as a rule of thumb 15amp=300watts rms load:).Lee
