Hello Dave,

I wouldn't bother with the back unless they've blown. Spend the extra money on the fronts. Contact Bob (Safe & sound), his number is in the contacts for the best prices. He'll sort u out.

Hi Dave,

I agree with Vijay with respect to the rear speakers. The original ones (4"x6") are made of crappy cardboard and will rip/tear easily - however, they do not add much to the overall sound staging in the car. The most important speakers will be the ones in the doors so go for some good ones there. The standard Nissan jobbies are 6.5" speakers and you can get nice Kenwood or Alpine ones that come with dome tweeters that you fit to the top of the door cards above the airvents. Alternatively, I know people who've managed to "massage" 6"x9" speakers into the front!

One thing to consider is whether you have a UK or Jap spec car. If it is the latter then you'll more than likely need to rewire to the front speakers as the stock wires are not compatible with aftermarket speakers (something about connections etc.)

Hope this helps mate,

Danny

Yup, I've managed the "massage" trick and stuffed 6x9s in my doors. Took about 3 hours with an angle grinder, but they do fit - no probs!
