Barclaycard Freedom....

Has anyone with a Barclaycard noticed this new "scheme" they are promoting?

 

I already have a "cash-back" card; but now, apparently, I also participate in their "Freedom rewards" sheme. I can earn extra money based on purchases in certain establishments; which (alegedly) can also be redeemed in "certain" establishments.

 

Well after 2 visits to Just Tyres this month, I have managed to "earn" an extra £41 which I can redeem in any participating retailer....

 

......of which, so far, I can work out there are none. Sure, they have many "participating" retailers wherein you can "earn" reward money. But they all seem to be "earn" only and not "redeem."

 

What's the bloody point then..??? And as expected, on the Barclaycard website, the FAQs do not actually contain the obvious "where can I SPEND this so-called reward money?"

 

What a flippin' con - I'll stick with my Amex as the cash back is actually worth someting!!
