Anyone know if there is a diagnostic to turn on the rear oil pump. Manual says it goes on at a set temp 130C (and above 75mph on the manual)and basically thats quite high. Did some fast stuff in the warm weather last week and it looks like it came on and leaked. One of the rubber pipe connections to the cooler leaked some oil onto the exhaust and rear suspension. Tightened the connections but would like to be sure its right. Otherwise emptied diff and fried diff at high speed!

Gather the imports dont have this problem.

Your gonna say sad git looks under his car! Well I was under to inspect the prop centre bearing which has defo sagged and I think causes transmission vibes cos the prop is out of line and basically resting on the mount with no flexible support.

Im not sure to be honest mate - but have you tried disconnecting the Engine Temp sensor - On some systems like the Auxilary fan it screws up Temprature Boundaries and just switches everything to on !

Try just disconnecting it and see if it works !

UR right - Jap imports don't have the problem cos they don't have a rear axle cooler. the diff is smaller than UK also. Recommend using synth oil in the diff also.

I'm not sure but I think I read in the manual that if you disconnect the temp sensor and turn the ignition on then hold the connector that goes to the temp sensor to the Diff case (straight short) it energizes the pump......
