ADR training

The company have put me up for my ADR licence, thought it'd be handy to have under my belt but OMG how bloody boring and its only day 1!!!

 

We watched a projector screen and they showed a picture of an accident that had involved A chemical spillage and this poor nurse who was just passing pulled over to help and the driver was in his cab with the windows shut because of the fumes from the spill was banging on the window trying to tell her to stay away but she thought he needed help so waded through what she thought was water and the fumes made her go unconscious and she fell into the spillage and the picture was graphic, made me think is it really worth and extra £6.50 a day.

 

Well still got 3 days of it so I'm hoping it goes quick.
