I have a lot of Snap On tools but that is just waaaaaaaaaaay too OTT! :wacko:

the burning question is, is the bidding figure now past what the actual tools are worth brand new? and why would you spend 30k on that amount of tools unless you know the actual value of them, reason i say is apart from legitimate businesses, the only reason i can see the average Joe buying them, would be to split and sell as kits and make more money that way.

 

But thats one hell of a collection, would be interesting to know why he has so many.

I wonder if a snap on van/truck got nicked with it's stock ?

he mentioned something about buying a workshop as a job lot from Colin mccrae's mechanic. Bought it for the milling machines and not the tools. I still wonder how much he paid for that.

Something dodgy about if you ask me and i woudnt be surprised if its not a snap on dealer thats bought it as he can get it replaced and sell it on as new
