makes you wonder how small earth is amongst all of this. i read a report a while back that put it all in context.

Imagine earth as a grain of rice, now put that grain in a 100 acre field, thats how big space is.

If earth was a grain of sand....then just our galaxy alone would be 5,000,000 miles across !!!! :eek:

 

........and our galaxy is tiny and just one of hundreds of billions of galaxys in space !

Space is far bigger than that, infact it goes on to infinity !!

Infinity is very difficult for the human brain to grasp, as we have nothing to compare it to
