Hey Guys,

ย

Weird but when i was driving around town being a hot day etc and so was going around without the roof :). However for some reason i could feel hot air coming through the gaps near were the trims join the middle dash. (fans were all off) It felt like engine heat was coming through into the interior.

ย

Is that normal? or what might be causing it. I felt like being grilled alive in the car!!!

What setting was the climate pod on, ie? temp number. Even with the pod off the valve in the heater matrix will open at the temp last set on the climate, allowing heat into the cabin.

Next time set it at say 16, turn it on for a minute then off, should cure the problem.

well i normally set it to 10 or the lowest and just let air come in and then i stop it. However my ac doesnt work so not sure if that affects it. So anything else i can try?

ย

Btw the heater matrix is that the flap thats behind the middle dash area?

Yes mate, matrix middle dash.

You do get some heat at the front end of the tunnel from the zorsts, which makes the carpet feel warm to the touch.

ย

Did you set the pod to 10 before you started the car?
