Evening all,

I could do with some help to find out where this particular pipe should go, at the moment it is dangling!

Pic taken from the drivers side wing,I put an arrow on the hose that isn't connected to anything, I had a look around and it isn't apparent where it might go. It is losing some sort of fluid though.

It is connected to a block which has a few other hoses connected to it - but I don't know what the block is for. Car is an auto tt.

Thanks in advance!

I might be wrong, it is late and I've just finished work, but it may well go to one of the boost solenoids, do you have an electronic boost controller fitted by any chance? The reason I am asking, is that the stock boost solenoids are usually disconnected if an EBC is fitted...

The 'block' is a solenoid, probably for either the EGR or the AIV system, if you have a search in the FAQ section, you'll know what I mean matey... HTH...

Thanks Tudor.

I couldn't work out if it was the EGR or AIV as the pics are for american motors, but there is an EBC fitted.

Reason for my head under the bonnet was the raised idle speed which I thought could be related to a vacuum leak somewhere. That and the late and hard shifting of the 'box (except when hold was on??).

Anyway, I'll go and have another look shortly..

Cheers!
