yesterday my scheme got cordond off

the guy lives about 300 yards from me sent a parcel bomb to niel lennon..not only is the guy a pedo..how sick can you be.

im a gers fan but its getting out of order now

    the last three times my scheme (woodwynde)has been on the news was for 2 parcel bombs and a murder(which happend right outside myfront door) i need to move

    not being a local to wee scotland but wtf is scheme (is that scottish slang for street or town)

     

    Short for "Housing Scheme", from when the old communities were torn down and everyone moved out to the new residential areas back in the 50's and 60's, mostly into high rise flats, with sod all in the way of local services.

     

    Nearly all of these were corporation (council) houses for low income working class families.

     

    Has become common usage for any distinct residential area.
