Help - making a mold

Ok, I've made a sculpture in clay. I now need to make a mold of it as I want to make the part in a resin or something.

Anyway I need help in what to get to make the mould. From Reading up it seems silicone is the best thing for me to use.

 

Basically I don't know what to but or where to buy it from. I'm wanting a pourable mixture.

 

Can anyone help or give me a link to what I need to buy?

    I went to hobbycraft but i can't find what I need... Or don't know what I'm looking for at least.

     

    The only thing I can find is trylon silicone rubber but I don't know if that's ok or if it's pourable etc

    what you need is RTV (Room Temprature Vulcanizing) rubber. I got some to mould some Stargate miniatures years ago. Got it off ebay. comes in 2 parts that you mix together then it sets after a day or so.

    did.nt Jim Hendrix have this kind of silicone mould thing done on his hard tool..some bird took a mould off him then filled it with liquid silicone and made a work of art..(google it):rofl::rofl: is this what your doing Lee??:tt2:
