got meself a meguires clay bar and had a quick go today, did a door panel, the paint was good to start with as i flat polished it with a machine polisher before, but now its even better, gonna do the whole car tomorrow then get some super resin polish then a wax

Not only does it get expensive, it also gets addictive mate! And then the OCD really sets in - I carry a micro-fibre cloth and detailing spray in the boot of the cars just in case of bird droppings, or to clean the dead insects off the front bumper.....:ohmy:

Yeah - it is pretty good stuff for light dust or rain spots between washes. Although I wouldn't use it to clean off heavier dirt and crap as I reckon you'd end up scraitching the paint by rubbing the muck around on it.

thanks matey, that shine really comes up well with that. very impressive.

you have to remember though, i did machine polish the whole car with g3 and final finish

 

but i think it will still give good result's, the one i bought came with a little bottle of wax to try, havent tried the wax yet though

hmm im well interested in this product now. how many clay bars to do a whole car? or does the 2 it comes with be enough?

im hoping the two is enough, im sure it can be used more than once

i4detailing is a good place to find lots of stuff you might be interested in, and at reasonable prices too.

as for the legs, i found a lamp once, a genie popped out and gave me one wish, i asked for a cock that touched the floor then poof in a cloud of smoke me legs disapeared:confused1:

yeah, it started to look a bit dull but is gonna be back to its glory if the rain holds off

I used almost a full bar on the supra. had ten years or tat on it then they did all the roads around here and it was caked in tar.

 

Its amazing how effortless the clay bar makes it. no more tcut and all that :)

t-cut must have had a hard knock in the last ten years, there shouldnt be any need for it now with the amount of decent product's that are about

Its also really good on overspray :D

ive been told that clay bar is exactly the same stuff that blutac is made from just with a pigment added ..........blutac is loads cheaper ...
