well....I`m amazed at what i found out today!!!

I was cutting a tree down in my garden and as i was picking the branches up i noticed a birds nest on the floor and 3 chicks had fell out and also a little blue egg!!! I picked them all up and placed them back in the nest and put them back in the rest of the tree that was still up....

me being a big nature lover was worried that the parents would abandon them and my girlfriend was moaning that cause i`ve touched them the parents wont come back, well thats not true! i set my camcorder up in the tree and left it going for a few hours, i`ve just watched it and within 6 mins both the parents came back and started feeding the chicks and came back about every 20 mins to feed and deshit the chicks( they poo in sacks and the parents take the crap away) ,they are starlings, i will post the video up 2morra its cute if you like that sorta thing!!

Anyway to cut a long story down, I`ve been looking on the tinternet about the starlings and found out that people keep them as pets and they can speak!!! yes... bloody speak human!!! thay have a voice box and can mimic humans and other birds:ohmy:, they can be hand fed from a very young age and become tame, well i never

A mate of mine nursed an injured woodpecker back to health a couple of summers ago. It was the cutest little thing. He insists it winked at him as it finally flew off when it was back in good health.

What goes around comes around mate.
