Well it looks as if I may need to sell the Zed if I can't get it onto a classic insurance policy somehow so I can have another car as a daily driver!

All these classic insurance companies want you to be over 25 before they even consider you!!

So the fact I'm paying through the nose already for my insurance I can't afford another full price policy :censored:

Bad times indeed as I'd hate to have to give her up and have no idea what I could replace it with :crying:

Yeah I just went with multicar myself (today in fact)

27 in july, 5 years NCB, two cars (my 1991 swb TT and 2001 Nissan Micra 1.0) Fully comp came to just under £700 for the both

Adrian Flux are useless because they think they are insuring a Bugatti Veyron, Lynbrook have changed their criteria on the TT model so only people over 30 can insure with them on that model.

Admiral won my money

my insurance has just gone up £220 across two cars for no reason whatsoever!!

sorry I meant my insurance QUOTE has gone up. they can booger off and I'll look elsewhere!

I'm with admiral, just the normal policy though and paid about £660 fully comp with breakdown cover. 24, 4 years (maybe 5?!) NCB thats on a 95 Manual Slicktop TT

I just cancelled my admiral renewal that was due at end of this month, they wanted £394.

Hope I can get it cheaper elsewhere then :(

I'm with Bell just now (which Admiral own so getting the same quote as Admiral gave me) and im paying £1440 a year.

I'm 22 with 2 years no claims :/ I'll try a multicar quote later but I think it will be through the roof to be honest :(

Age starts at 25 for Livingstones Warman Cherished. Managed to sort me out when their previous underwriter (NIG) withdrew. Plus have offered me a limited mileage policy in various mileages starting as low as 1,500m per year. Might be worth a try even if you're not old and wrinkled. http://www.lwib.co.uk/schemes

I'm 23 and i pay £640 for 10 months. My excess is high i admit, but i do also have 4 years (5 this year) no claims, and that is with all mods declared.

well after a couple of phone calls I have managed to drive my renewal down by almost £200 (across two cars) so in the end I'm only paying about £30 more than last year. better than a brick in the balls I suppose.

Well in the end I cancelled my Admiral policy because I was within the 14 days you have when you take out the policy.

I got a quote from Footman James (via Equity Red Star) for my 1991 SWB TT which I went for.

1991 SWB TT manual with 5000 annual mileage, all mods declared with euro breakdown cover - £234 fully comp.

I'm 26 years old.
