Without spending a fortune on a PC, what would be a decent one for swirl removal ?

Was looking at the halfruads one: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_189810_langId_-1_categoryId_165640#dtab

I also saw a silverline one on ebay for around £20, I have had a few silverline things and always been quite pleased with them ...

Any one have recommendations for anything not megabucks ?

The silverline rotarys are fine, amazon did the soft start one for £23~ a while ago dont know if you can still get them?

Wouldnt bother with the DA from halfords, will take you all week to do half a car.

they are shite, they cause more swirls than reduce, and unless your using some sort of polishing compound then simply using a rotary polisher wont help

You wouldnt use either of them without a polishing compound anyway

im not talking your halfords shite, its a cutting paste im on about

LOL I only use the 3M stuff mate. I have four different grades from a heavy cut to a fine finishing compound.

Did detailing with swirl/scratch correction for a year or so for some extra income I know I thing or two about it ;)

After cutting back with compound polish or wax the car a panel at a time but only taking off in straight lines this helps reduce the swirls or holograming coming back ;)
