Been doing this over the last few weeks, dont get me wrong i would love to have the digital climate control dispaly like in my TT but the vert had the shitty manual one and it was looking worn, so i decided to fit a digital clock/date counter inside an old unit, pics are a bit rubbish but you get the idea!

it looks shite mate, i think you should rip that out and send it to me so i can dispose if it by putting it in my car mate. would look much better than dragging your vert down to my standard. i mean come on, your even missing the LED's from the front screen defogger and AUTO button.

I like that, how did you get your backdisplay (on your heat controls) to be red? I'm guessing you just replaced the bulb?

You may have lifted the leg of the leds off the track, when putting it back together, very sensitive the track around the bulb holder. You have lost the blue led on the cold arrow, again, check the legs on the track.

Actually had a closer look at the climate pod, the washer symbol is out too, are your plugs in properly/fully on both pods? Hazard is not lit either.

ahhh, it makes sense now, i have run a seperate feed from the back of the pod to the dash as i have no power to the pod lights for some reason, so the middle bit is the only part illuminated as the others are on a different feed, if you know what i mean, lol, it was gettin dark so will check the feed out again tommorrow, my whole lighting problem was the 2 inverter wires on the rear 300zx indiglo shorting out!!

Actually Groover whilst your on, I have no power to both pod illumination and my needles are out aswell, but I have ciggy illumination and the clock goes dim when lights are turned on? any suggestions mate?

You might have taken your feed from here anyway, but the place place for EL dials and any additional lighting, to come on with the light switch, is to take the feed from the 2 screws on the bottom or rear of the dash.
