Evening Guys,

Just thought i'd share with you that our Chris is a not to good at the moment, he was taken into hospital in the early hours of this morning with chest pains, still in the dark at the moment as they are still doing tests, so not sure what's going on but he has been kept in over night with more tests happening tomorrow.

I'm sure it would mean a lot to him to know your thoughts are with him.

Well Just a bit of an update for you, well it seems that the Doctors think he's had a heart attack dont know to what extent the damage is yet so will have to wait till i go in tonight, so will let you all know more then.

Cheers

Marie-Anne

I thought that Marie-Anne last night but did not like to worry you.

My father in law who is 70 had chest pains and it did turn out that he too had had a heart attack, this was dec 29 just gone.

He spent some time in hospital for 7 days having tests, he does need a heart bypass but this is relatively routine these days, of course though it does have risks.

He awaits this operation sometime this month and in fact is looking forward to it, he has been on drugs ever since dec 29 and initially he did lose weight but having just seem him tonight he looks very well and as put on that weight again.

He smoked a lot but overnight he stopped, with the operation there is no reason why he cannot live for another 15 years minimum.

So my message is, Chris as had a warning, can now be checked out and put right, hope my news as eased your worrying somewhat

Hiya Marie Anne , long time no see , please tell Chris that we,re all wishing him a speedy recovery from this , see you soon .

Well, as promised i thought i'd share the lastest from the wonderful world of Northampton General...... Chris has definately had a heart attack and today they have carried out an angioplasty and cleared a blocked artery and inserted a stent (sounds very painful from who Chris described it).

Good news is that all being well he should be home sometime tomorrow, and i know he'll be spending time on here for a while as he wont be going to work and he's not allowed to drive for at least a month.

So, hopefully tomorrow night he'll be able to read all your kind messages.

Marie-Anne

ouch lol they put the stent in up through the groin, very painful apparently, but at least they got to the bottom of the problem. H ewill feel like a new man once he's rested a while.

That,s great news Marie Anne , he,ll be back to his old self in no time ( buying shiny stuff for his car ) lol

Great news Marie-Anne, nice to see Chris making a good recovery and coming home. I am sure Tony (Osty1) will have seen this and will send his wishes too.

Chris is a great fellow with a very strong personality, and i am sure he will be bouncing around on his feet in not time at all.

My best reagards......

Alan.

Thanks for updating us there, here is to a speedy recovery and look forward to Chris getting back on line :)

Managed to miss this somehow,

Very sorry to hear about the heart attack, but glad that things have worked out relatively ok.

Hope to hear from you soon buddy
