Well this is my snake Princess, shes a female desert king snake, in the wild she would normally be found hunting diamondback rattlesnakes and there pretty damn good at it too, as they are immune to the venom.

Shes a year and 4 months old so still plenty of growth in her yet.

Although she isn't displaying the full Desert kind snake colors yet, they should start appearing soon, well i hope they do as at present she is showing the same banding and markings as a king cobra lol

You can actually get them of ebay now. They have to be sold as live food to abide by ebay rules :D

Heat mat (not essential but good) depending on species a good misting of water for a humid cage and fresh food. pretty easy to keep really

before you go on buying some guys id do your research on species and stuff. Some of them can be hard tp keep and do need regulated heat and stuff, and some you cant handle. For a first time keeper id get either a chinese or african mantis.

nice i wasnt giong for an ebay

but good info anyway

i used to have stick insects but a mantis is a bit different

Ive got 2 Bearded Dragons called Frank and Betty :)

love the bearded dragons mate...i hope they dont eat them leaves though

you would like that wouldnt you

They can bite. I have had one draw blood before. but its quite rare. (the one that bit me died the next day of old age, she was going for a fly that was on my hand, she missed)

This is what i mean by getting the right species though, some will sit on your hand and eat, some will attack you
