Hi Guys,

As above, what i'm after is an insert to my left shoe/trainer/slipper whatever i wear. Due to already documented damage to sciatic nerve, my heel and sole area and especially inbetween, is VERY susceptible to pain if i tread on a pebble/stone even a pea (i must be a price (cess??) )

so i'm thinking, instead of wearing 6 pairs of socks, cushion soles and that insole that stops smells... if i had a flat rigid insert..size 9 left, it could prevent my problem.

I have no access to machine tools/guillotines/material so i need the help of someone who does. suggestions on material etc will be gratefully rec'd.

Material costs i can cover, Alcohol for the labour.

So any one out there willing to help a disabled member (i do actually have a blue badge and regularly park the zed in the disabled bays at tesco...)

Many thanks,

Rich

I'm sure you've come across then already but I use some inserts aimed at people with flat feet...arch support, etc...but they are very supportive and very thick. Cost about £25 from boots and last at least 2yrs of daily use! Maybe worth a look if you've not used them before...

Have a go with some superfeet inserts, I use them and they're great. I think they have a 30-day trial period too, so if you don't get on with them you can get your money back.

If there is one thing i have learnt, is that this forum is a wealth of useful information,

SSG i've never been offered anything like that at the hospital of physio dept, i'll check out Boots.

Hellraiser. Seeing the Doctor on monday about heart attacks so i'll ask him then.

LeoE i have a feeling superfeet inserts are to flexible and when treading on a stone would still transmit the feeling. i'll check things out though.

Thanks all, i'll let you know.
