Go nice with the Zed and Rocco bud!

I know mate, i love that retro vibe. I wish i had a few more pounds in the bank... most people would need millions to have a collection of their dream cars - i reckon i could have 10 of the best for less than 100K

Spent £10k doing it up and then traded it in against a fookin Corsa?

I know times are hard, but per-lease FFS. I hope it sells for 7-8k and makes matey boy realise trading it in for £2k against a Corsa was a bad idea

I remember always liking the opel senator too (import jobby), they looked like a slightly larger version of the gte. They actually made some pretty cool cars a few years ago. They might have struck gold again in the Insignia VXR - heard many good things about those. Retro cars are cool tho, especially now we can afford some of them. They never live up to your expectations though..

Love retro, had an Opel Monza GSE in the 80`s loved every minute of it, drove it to the South of France many times, have a photo somewhere of it parked up on the Monacco race circuit!! still pop up on ebay some times and they are still very tempting!

AH, the Monza - that was it :detective:

A guy near my primary school had one, walked past it every morning and thought 'i want a car like that when I grow up'. Ended up buying an Omega, which wasn't exactly the same. I suppose the Monza was an early equivelant to the modern Monaros now - big naturally aspirated (not all, I know) coupes.

I always admired these when I was a kid and remember seeing someone drive a brand new one at about 50 mph into a 4 ft deep flood. I didn't see it on the road for months afterwards!
