whats required and where do i get one.... iv found 2 in japan..... why is there sod all info on them???

Featured Replies

And as they are from Japan they may not meet FIA regs??

There is virtually no UK info on them cos there is virtualy no demand for them.

The 2+2 300ZX is not the car of choice for many FIA regulated events.

Especially in the UK.

The US is mainly a 2 seater market and their SCCA regs are not the same as FIA .

People like Custom cages will/can make you one to any spec you wish. It will cost more than many people pay for a whole car tho.

Leon at Alunox makes cages for the Z. If you search Roll cage, there was a thread back in Aug 2009 made by John Dixon on a possible group buy, unsure what class they are.

yea i had a look at the john dixon thread and emailed him regarding cage for a 2+2 and i got nothing back the 2+2 is what iv got and what im trying to get into the BDC, a swb would be useless in the BDC really - so im gonna need a custom cage making basically?

theyrs two cusco ones on ebay if im remember correctly not sure if its fia standard but might be a starting point..was gonna add a link theyr but im guessin theyr the ones you seen

there are a few places around that will make custom cages that meet FIA reg, Andy Robinson Racing and AutoCross to name a couple but, expect to pay anything from ยฃ2000 up to ยฃ5000 for a FULL 2+2 race spec cage
