I know this subject has come up before, and I know we have some very keen collectors amongst us ;)
Well I've decided to start my own little collection off again, as I've posted before I own a small collection of 300ZX's in various sizes.
Following on from my 'Old Reg Plate Checking' thread the other day, I've decided to collect models of some of my fave old cars, which are.....
I first noticed that Corgi had released a special of the Ford Capri 2.8i, complete with a special Haynes history book. This just happens to be the same colour as mine, so managed to obtain one off eBay....
My old XR4i, although mine was Black you can only buy a Red one....
And my current Alfa Romeo 156, although again mine isnt Red and I have the high level rear spoiler....
All of those are in the same scale, which is 1:43 which matches my Silver 300ZX.
Saying that, I've just spent a bit more money that I really shouldn't have  on this........ (sorry for the large picture)...
It's a special limited edition of the 1981 Ford Capri 2.8i in the same colour as mine was and in 1:18 scale. It's limited run was 1000 only, and is almost impossible to find any for sale.
Well you've got to treat yourself sometime ;)
