well not had the best of days today. got up and was working away on the house everything was fine. then it was time to go up to the bodyshop and pick up a log book for alanas brothers car and drop off some ice stuff. stopped in put 20 quid in the car and went to the cash machine to get the money out to pay for it machine was counting my 120 quid then came up saying there was an error and didnt give me my money thing is that was my last 120 till i get paid. had to go in explain to them what had happened and i couldnt pay. the santander says i have to wait 24 hours for the money to be put back in now. so have had to borrow money from my dad to go back up and pay for the fuel. to make matters worse my mate at the bodyshop wasnt even there so still got that to do. really cant be bothered now

same thing happend to be about 2weeks ago. Gave me my card and no cash!! :( simply went to my bank, told them i didnt received any money as the atm froze and turned off. 5 days later the money was in my bank :D

Is this one that charges you, as i know someone who had a similar thing happen, it asked do you agree to the charge etc. Yet when yes was selected it said please wait and then please take your cash but did not dispense any!!! madness

yeah have spoke to them it will all get sorted was more the fact it was the last of my money if i still had money in the bank i wouldnt have been as bad lol

was just a normal santander atm one of the free ones

i had a similar thing happen to me around 2 years ago with a garage and tescos, went into the garage fill the car up, paid with my card, the machine gave and error and the cashier said "ill try on the other till", went to the other till and paid there. that time it went through fine.

 

I then went and did shopping at tescos, had all this shopping bagged and ready to go and my card got declined? which i thought was strange as i knew i had enough cash in the account for the fuel and shopping, so went and checked the cash machine, nope sure enough didnt have enough. got home from being rather embarrassed from having to walk out of tescos and leave all the shopping. checked my bank, the error on my card from the garage has still taken the cash, then i had paid AGAIN for the same fuel and it had gone through the second time around. so i had basically paid £70 twice for just the one amount of fuel, had to wait 3 days for it to get put back on my card.

 

Needless to say i was not impressed with how chip and pin works.

ahhh ok, well as you say im sure they will sort it tomorrow:) pain in the behind with it being your last avail cash though!!
