my bro in law just took 17 batterys to the scrap yard and got £92 for them, seems they are in high demand ATM, wondered why you dont see them lying about in back lanes anymore

also high demand is circut boards from tv's and microwaves and so forth, ive noticed lately that any tv's dumped have them smashed open and they take the boards, good money for them

i didnt know that. what can they get from a pcb though?

prob is now though the theiving pikeys are going round stealing batteries of lorries as well as the diesel and choping the cats of them,weve been hit a few times ,

£5 each. Only worth doing if you have a whole load of them.

 

Used to get £50 per cat at the scrappies, which was £100 for the Z cats

can get about £180 for a scrap car round here

Well I hate to tell you but there are NO £50 scrappers to be found anywhere...........

yeagh prices are good just i weighed in two that i bought 6 months ago.

 

cinquecento paid £40 got £180.00 for car and £10.00 for cat

 

v6 vectra paid £70 got £240.00 for car and twenty pounds for cat

i always buy whe prices are low and store to they rise again.

I've got loads of scrap bits, cats, brake discs etc, so i'll be cashing them in soon.

 

Would a zed bonnet be worth cashing in?

there is 3 of us at my work and we are always at the scrap dealers taking all out old light fitting that we are renewing save it up all year then have a night out at xmas and split the rest
