guys,

My electric window is playing up,the passenger one is fine.It seems to be a loose connection,it changes when the door is openend and closed..........just stops working.......

Any ideas????????

How do you get the door panel off'or is the switch easy to get at.

1. On the part which you use to close the door when you are in the car, there are 2 screws under the small piece of carpet in there. Take them out and the whole unit with the window switch will come out. You can now do what you want.

 

To take the panel off carry on.

 

2. Open the window. On the outside on the black door pillar there is a black circle cover. Take it off and take out the screw on the other side. The black over on the other side will now just pull off.

3. Under the pillar you have just taken off there are 2 screws, take them off.

4. Take off the surrounding to the door handle/lock.

5. There are 3 screws (I think around the door that need to be taken out. 2 near the door hinge and 1, open the door and its near the latch.

6. Pull the bottom of the door panel out, to unclip the clips biggrin.gif. May have to get a screwdriver in there and help the clips.

7. Pull the door panel up and off it comes.

 

It takes a few mins on your first attempt, but it takes 10 mins when you know what you are doing.
