Fund raising, charities & good causes....

During recent discussions The Committee has decided that the club should adopt a formal policy for members wishing to post threads, appealing for funds etc. on behalf of charitable causes.

Whilst we admire and respect those people involved in fund raising for charities and good causes, we are also mindful that many of our members might be finding it difficult themselves; coping with the rising costs of living, falling wages, redundancy etc. Consequently we believe that it may sometimes be inappropriate to play on the sympathies and goodwill of our membership.

We therefore ask if anyone wishes to post a thread, appealing for any kind of support on behalf of a charitable cause (or the like), that they please PM a member of The Committee first. The Committee will then discuss the matter and either permit or decline the request accordingly.

Any such thread posted without The Committee's express permission will be deleted. In addition, only fully subscribed members with a reasonably long standing in the club need apply.

Finally, please remember that if The Committee does grant permission for your appeal; the 300zx.co.uk Club does not in any way endorse, support or associate itself with the actions of individual individual members; or the charity that benefits from their good work.
