I had this was a bad earth.

Really? is the one that runs from the engine to the body then to the battery

Boldy on here has 2 spare PTU's if you wanted to try one (my first choice)

If that isn't the problem check continuity from the PTU to the coil pack.:chinese:

not the connector itself all green and corroded? guess he's checked that?

Hey pmf....

I had this on my 300 very recently, but was #1 cylinder for me. No spark, coilpack fine, all electrical signals fine, plug fine, plug connector fine, injector connector fine.... I was a bit lost now.

So... i took a gamble on a faulty injector after many hours searching this and many forums, and guess what.....

It was a good gamble, turned out the injector had failed and could not get enough fuel into the chamber to combust.

Hope this helps matey........

Its deffantly not sparking he's had the plug in the coil pack and resting on a bolt on top off the engine and wizzed it over but got nothing, thanks for your help anyway

Either get a series II ptu and try that or there must be a break in the loom for that plug matey.

Hope you get it sorted soon........

Let us know your findings buddy, good for a search.
