Very easy, unplug it, take off adjuster bolt and remove the long top bolt, job done

hey groover, so if the head of the adjuster bolt breaks what do we do? do we just replace the adjuster bolt or have to replace the entire alternator?

thanks

You can replace the adjuster bolt, the arm/adjuster bracket, is seperate to the alternator. There is a bolt behind the adjuster nut that goes at the bottom of the alternator the front of the captive nut is what the adjuster bolt goes into. HTH
