1/8 BSP thread. The NPT will go in and seem like it tightens but will strip the thread.

Thanks for the info. Whre is the best place to get an adaptor? I want to fit an Oil Temp gauge too, so guess an 1/8 BSP male tee-ing with 2 x 1/8 NPT female is the best option?

You can get a sandwich plate off ebay quite cheap, infact i have a spare chrome one if you want it. ive only tried it out for size on my spare engine, hasnt been used.

There are a couple of other holes around the filter tree you could take a feed from, or oil temp from the sump plug, ive seen an adaptor advertised somewhere.

Snowleopard has first refusal mate. If he doesnt want it, then its yours.

Just to let you know, i got this as a gift from madmax, gratis, so i will do the same, just cover the post.

Thats very kind mate. Yes I would like it. Happy to cover the cost of a drink if you like!

Where do I collect it and would tomorrow evening after work be ok?

Ok, but i have an NPT threaded oil pressure sensor, that fits a sandwich plate as its NPT, but after taking one of the feed bolts from the oil filter housing, it feels like its going to strip. I tried an adaptor bolt that came with the sensor, it fits smoothly on the threads of the sensor, but is slightly loose initially on the bolt from the oil filter housing. Indicating to me that its not the same.
