nearly 9 hours stuck on the motorway

well set out today at 8 to go to edinburgh to get tax and a log book for the lexus from the dvla office. eventually got there at the back of 11 normally a 30 or 40 min journey. then tried to head home. hit the motorway around 12 and spent the rest of the day stuck on it. had a sleep watched a dvd and some tv before i eventually reached whitburn to pick up the wife from work just before 9. she finished at 3 lol anyway just glad to be home

    What a day for you, glad you are home safe. I am due to be in Edinburgh from next Sunday until the following Friday...I will keep an eye on the airport, I understand nothing is landing or taking off at present, you must have it bad up there.

    My mrs went to Edinburgh from Glasgow on Sunday with her pals for a night oot, then get the bus back today, they are all stranded had to book into a B n B as all buses/trains off.

     

    The west isnt much better we had a foot of snow this morning, caused chaos, I have a normal 45 minute journey turn into a 6 hour nightmare, a wee bit of snow and look at us lol.

     

    Great feeling to get home aint it.
