I tried virtually the whole phone book to get someone to put my tyres on my new wheels.

 

Everyone kept saying they did not want to risk it as they might scratch the rims and combined with being reverse fit they would not touch them.

 

I got fed up calling around in the end and two garages said they might do them but when I showed them the wheels they declined. But going out the area a bit someone put them on without moaning and did a great job. Just one of those little garage type places. Charged me £80 to do them but I did not care, I was just pleased to have them fitted. They took a lot of care doing them and did not hurt them at all :cool3:.

 

People these days are scared to do anything!

its amazin how many ppl refuse to do a job coz the dont want to damage anything so much for tradesmen ehh..if they cant do it why'd they advertise to do it its stupid

It's even mention when you say 300zx /import/ work needed!! i know what you mean though and hope i dont face a similar issue when i get my wheels fitted i was hoping to pay around 5/10 for tyre fitting maybe not though lol :/

just had this problem myself this weekend ..kwik fit turned me down point blank witout seeing the wheels & tyres so i went to express tyres falmouth, the fitted them no problem .. i told them to be carefull as just been fully refurbed & polished & they didnt leave a finger print on them!! £30 all fitted ..happydays waving cash infront of these guys on a weekend close to christmas does wonders...no receipt etc ;-)

yeah as i said the cash works wonders as long as the boss is away ;)

my local ats love it on saturdays i had a puncture repair on my daily runner repaired for "a drink" so i gave him a tenner but im sure he would of took a fiver ..but its almost christmas,

great news martin, I was hoping you'd shop around for piece of mind that they wont get damaged, but didnt think you'd have that much of a problem!

I had the same problem with mine, they just looked at them for 10m lol!!!
