Anyone know the cheapest place to get one? Amazon do the GT5 Collectors edition with a 320gb PS3 with GT5 and one controller for £297.

 

Also, can I play my old PS1 and 2 games on it?

Tesco were doing the GT5 collectors pack for £265ish when i last looked. I was tempted.

The amazon deal is slightly better as you get a HDMI cable chucked in free. The extra £10 gives you another game as well.

Just gone late night internet shopping for the Tesco direct ps3 with GT5 deal. As I work for them got 10% off and had £13.50 of clubcard vouchers just from fueling up there ended up getting it for £228.60 picked up from my local store tomorrow (Saturday). Can't wait:biggrin: - even though its not the collectors edition I'm not too bothered and I'm quite impatient and wanted it asap but didn't want to pay for express delivery lol. HDMI cables are only a few quid as well so hopefully I'm on to a winner! Just realised I earned 538 points as well givin me a £5 voucher straight away next time the vouchers come around. :thumbup:

haha yeah soon got an email this morning saying its been shippped. but I think it'll be a while until the dam thing arrives because of the weather. I had ago on my mates last night and was quite impressed. Although i'll be off to buy a wheel on Saturday I think! :D

oh you need the wheel. Get the GT one only £80 and it makes a HUGE differance to gaming. i will never go back to a pad again on a car game :)

Yeah I have reserved a wheel and i'm going to try and collect it later on or tomorrow. I got an unexpectedly good xmas bonus so thought what the hell!

 

Just out of interest where did you get yours from? I managed to find one at argos for £80 but everywhere else was like 130 or sold out. Amazingly, I watched a second hand one go on ebay last night for 85 lol.

 

I still have a Ps1 with GT2 and a madcatz 2 steering wheel. I bet it all still works as well! I had some awesome cars on GT2 - fond memories!

The worst bit is, im not normally that bothered about stuff I buy because i generally work away from home. But since im working from home at the moment, I have endless time to log into the amazon site every 12 minutes looking for an update on the tracking or some glimmer of hope that its moving across the country....

I wonder is it worth trying to hold up the overnight trunker lorry in order to steal my own parcel??!
