Bought a cheapo 525ix AWD to get me through the snow, better then being brown bread. Very rare AWD only 200 imported into UK, £680 bargain :)

nice - i like those old 5 series - had a 535i myself years ago. I didn't know they ever did 4wd version.

Very very rare old girl! Awesome car, I didnt realise there were as few as 200.

Quite interesting in the fact that in the states you can get 3's with 4wd even modern ones.

Gave her a good bash in the snow and ice and very impressed, even better then my old Range Rover. That was very top heavy, when it let go into a slide was quite scary.

On the test drive in Forest Hill (you guessed, lots of iced up hills) he was showing off a bit and we came down a steep hill where he had to brake for a junction and we skated across the ice doing a 360 spin into oncoming traffic. I laughed but it was pretty scary :)
