repost, please note it points to a webpage stating 2010 in the title and not 2011, its scaremongering.

i have read it. they said they would have to see how best to implement it. but that doesn't mean its set in stone. they had this same thing and discussed the same thing back in 2003/04 and still nothing has come of it.

LOL.. good... but I fear HID's will be a target very soon.... the rest is a bit speculative..

 

I think we'd be naive to say "scaremongering"... best to nip these thing in the bud... i can see private industry being hit financially if these regurgitation come in...

 

but as you point out, they haven't made clear and they don't indicate on what year cars this will take effect.

or how even to enforce some of the prosed ideas.
