ah i see a mate of mine was asking the other day if a cat d write off puts the insurance up at all i wasnt sure.

I don't know what category write off it was - log book just says

'substantially repaired and/or damaged; identity checked on 12/08/10. My dad

got insurance on it with Insurance Factory for £329 a year.

Even the smallest of things like the windows being smashed can result in a Cat C. Dont be put off by it mate
