Can anyone help with a quote, i have been given a ford ranger dual cab 52 plate,

but i cant get a quote, i just want for social use.

 

been compare and confused, but silly quotes 900+

 

i got 10 ncd clean etc.

Don't use comparison sites, I best quote I got from one of them was £100 more than I got going direct to the company they said was cheapest (which was Admiral)

Cant beleive it has to be insured as a van?

i was the same, im 25 with 2 years named driver ncb by direct line. confused said admiral was the cheapest @ £750 but when i phoned up he got it down to £404 :-)

insurance has always baffled me. I've got a 1996 Mitsi Challenger (shogun Sport) and it costs me over £600 FC. Insurance companies have always told me it's my postcode but a neighbour has just bought a Kia 4x4 at £25k, costs him just over £300 with Aviva. I rang them up and they want £1100 for mine :( My neighbour has 3 points on his license too so it make absolutely no sense to me :(
