I hate to pi55 on your bonfire Glen, but thats the brake fluid reservoir...

 

The HICAS reservoir is the green thing further forward and slightly left with a small black cap & two wires....

It's the pot towards the front of the car with the black lid, NOT the orange/yellow lid that's the brake resevoir!

 

Don't forget it's ATF, Dexron, nothing else will do!

The reason for my techical abhorration was due to a combination of reading some daft thread on dash brake warning lights and then coming on here and trying to be clever at the same time.

Im in a state of terminal bewilderment.

huh? the one in glens pic seems right from this angle thats where we topped up our steering fluid and it cured the HICAS problem no probs.

That'll be because he's edited the pic!
