MOT Failure

Bought a 1990 jap import last year. Past its first MOT no worries. This year it has failed cos it does not have a fog light (fair doos) but also a problem with the ABS. Does anyone no how to fix ABS. What could be the problem. Will do a diag got the instructions. But how hard is it to sort. CheerZ in advance.

One of my APS sensors are broken and not sending a good signal. However this doesnt show up on any lights. It was only when I installed my TC when I knew about it

My ABS has never worked - and it's passed 2 MOTs so far! How did they test it?

the breaks work absolutly fine and I havn't bothered getting the abs fixed cos I dont really like ABS anyway (may sound silly) but if my breaks are fine i said to the guy whats the difference between that and a Nova with no ABS anyway. I think it is probably just a sensor but need to do a diag on the system. I have been told that this is easy.

The online manual has the diagnostic codes for the abs fault. You should have a computer on the right hand side back 1/4 panel. take off the inside panel. drive the car for 1 mile at 20mph, stop car but leave started. the computer led should flash, number of flashes will tell you fault.
