After a bit of soul searching, and doing a few sums i have finally decided to bite the bullet and go for a manual conversion in my car.

 

I know i wanted to keep it auto for a number of reasons, but having weighed up the pros and cons i have decided to take the plunge.

 

A big thanks to Andy Isherwood for supplying the conversion kit at a very reasonable price and for offering to help me get it sorted.

 

Also a big thanks to those of you who helped me with the old box issues. Although in the end she was knackered, It gave me a massive sense of acheivement to get her running again, even if it was only for a week.

 

Also an apology to those who i have been speaking to about taking their auto boxes, i will now be going this route, so thanks for your help but no auto box needed thanks.

 

I will keep you all posted and will probebly stick up some photos as we go along.

 

Hopefully she will be back on the road sooner rather than later.

Craig that is very kind of you and i will definitely take you up on it. I am hoping to take my car round to Andys first thing next saturday.

 

I will of course be looking after anyone who wants to lend a hand so if anyone else is in a charitable mood and wants to help me get my car up and running, then you will be fed and watered, but i'm afraid to say that i cannot be held responsible for what Andy will do as a favour!! :w00t:
