Bought one of those 20x10 tents of ebay and built a small fence to hide it from the roadside. For the money cant complain (£170) gotta see how it holds up to the elements.

Nice one fella, make shure its well bolted down

Yeah I spent about £60 on rawl bolts the frame is going nowhere. The canvas will be the test, might try roping the sides.

All four sides have some sort of wind cover, fence at front, trees/bushes on both sides and then the house at the back. So should help with the wind.

I,ve gone a bit OTT fastening mine down but i do need it to last , I,ve fastened wood battons to my drive and sat the whole thing on these so i could fasten the covering better then got a huge roll of rope and did this

Bought a load of bungees to string across the insides to support the covering from blowing in too far and ripping .

Should now withstand a nuclear attack !!

hehe, i love it, theres going to be a craze of little white squares poping up in people's front drives, i think the heavy snow on the top of it would be the test?

Thats a good idea, even if your neighbours will think your garden is a crime scene lol

only thing I'd be a little worried about is if any scrotes see it and want to have a look inside :(

yep that was on my mind hence the fence but it still sticks out over the top and you can hear it flapping from the road.

As soon as I get some power in my tent permanent will put a cctv cam inside, already have two cameras watching the outside of my tent.

Flipping heck alan, that thing isn't going anywhere is it? :D lol

Good going aquanuke, think i might have to invest in one of those for the V8 until i can get the pennies together to invest in a proper brick garage for the V8 to live in at the new house :) It's a fair old size for a £170 tent too! I didn't realise they were that big!

It,s doing me proud Nick , i,ve not got room to build a garage , i don,t really want one on the drive when the zeds finished so i might try and find a neighbour who,ll rent theirs to me to keep it in .
